Slightly off-topic - I used to own freakonomics.com, which I sold to them. Would have charged more if I knew they were writing a book that would become a best-seller.

On-topic - PNL is very good from your poker list. As for the rest, I don't know what's in your library already. If you own nothing else, those wouldn't be my 1st choices.

Wealth of Nations is actually a good read for it's age. A lot of econ majors never actually read it cover to cover, but I did. The scope of his thinking to put it together at that time is impressive. There are a few problems of course, but most is brilliant.

Nickel and Dimed, The Worldly Philosophers - both good reads.
