Why not try both for a couple weeks each?
Vegas generally plays more tight/passive than LA, which is often either loose/passive or (most often) loose/aggressive. Your winrate should probably be higher in LA, but the variance will be, as well.
Also, it depends on whether you're playing mid/high no/limit or other types of poker
