I've been a professional writer for over 15 years...screenplays, mostly ...and no, I'm not talking porn! You're doing the right thing - writing! Only way to improve. Also, read - a lot. All kinds of stuff.
If you're doing short stories, there are plenty of places to submit...check out the
Writer's Market Guide. There's also tuns of other resources out there - just Google it.
As for getting feedback - maybe a college course, a writer's network in your area, etc.
Just keep writing!
