First name that comes to mind for me is a young Mike Mussina (with some extra size). Low 90's with great control, nasty hook...his mound presence is also very comparable in my opinion.

I don't see it, at least not stuff-wise. Clemens threw harder, splitter vs. curve, etc.

I was also going to say Clemens is bigger, but baseball-reference.com says Hughes is actually an inch taller (6-5 vs. 6-4). Is that true? I never would have guessed Hughes was so big.
