I think it was actually the Yankees, because Steinbrenner used to cite it constantly when asked about the team's drought of championships during that decade.

Still, the fact that the Royals had a 52.95% winning percentage for a 10-year stretch should be pretty surprising to most people! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
