Seconded on sam's town -- I've hit it twice driving through from ohio to oklahoma this year just because my parents recommended it. I hadn't read that horseshoe / gold strike had better card rooms at the time -- I will try them next trip but really I wouldn't have a problem just going back to ST on a quick drive by trip.
I finished up quite a bit both times playing 3/6 and 4/8. There were some locals at the table of course, and dealers from other rooms but there were also quite a few tourists and the games were plenty loose.
The rooms were cheap ($55 during the week) big / clean etc. The buffet was good and the poker room comped $2.50 an hour.
