LOL. I would have straddled ASAP (the next hand if possible) and promised the dealer another $15 (just like the my buddy) if he hits me right.You missed an excellent opportunity to try to turn your game into a spewfest. Obvious nittiness like this is penny wise and pound foolish.
If I could, I'd try to create a craps/roulette atmosphere at any table I'm at. IMO, this is helping, not hurting, that atmosphere. And for what its worth, happy well tipped dealers can help create that atmosphere better than anyone at the table.
