this is different than your previously mentioned 'strategy' of "I'm happy to start out as friends and work our way up" or whatever it was.
If you dig her then you dig her. If you later decide that you just want to be friends with each other than you do that.
I have no problem with being friends with girls and that wasn't at all what I was trying to say.
On your initial meeting of this girl this was not someone who immediately struck you as awesome friend material. It was someone who you thought was really attractive and you wanted to go out with.
Perhaps ElD would be willing to let you tag along and observe his ability to talk to the ladies.
