i like the thinking and perhaps there is a better use of a play like this in another situation
but for just $2 villain would likely have called despite odds--in NL its called being "pot committed" with a 2 outer villain has a 4% or 5% chance at about a $100 pot, so he has an overlay although its a longshot, but when he was down to his last $2 the villain is likely not rational anyway, even if his bet was -ev.
