this occurs primarily on Full Tilt now not PokerStars, fortunately or unfortunately for us. I enjoy Stars' VIP program more, but not enough action there lately.
in my experience, the best all-around players generally prefer PLO8 given the choice. maybe like 2 expections come to mind (for $3/$6 and $5/$10 players).
i'm doing awfully at NLO8 this year, although i'd like to think i have formulated some tricky NL strategies.
