One of my friends/co-workers is a year younger than me. I don't ever recall meeting her until she started working at my company 4 years ago. So we realized all of this after the fact.

We both grew up the same city outside Chicago but went to different schools. We both played water polo and her boyfriend at the time and I were both goalies for rival high schools. We then went to the same college in St Louis with the same major. I was in one class with her senior year, but I never went and just turned my homework in to the professor's office. So the only time she ever heard my name was when the professor was trying to pass back homework to a seemingly non-existant student. Not only do we work together now in LA, but my wife and I just bought a townhouse, and through our search the one we loved and ended up buying is in the same complex she lives in.
