Since chat is such a small part of the problem and so easy to implement, I don't see why people are not wanting it. But I'm not an expert at XML. I agree with this. I think it also would be neat to display this information in a hand replayer, especially since chatting may be a part of the hand (e.g. when someone in the hand says "tilt" to make other think he does'nt have a hand). If you want to document a hand played live it also might be nice to be able to document what the players said while playing.
