1) It wasn't his first post.
2) It wasn't a racial slur per se. It was in response to a reply which understood his Bass-O-Matic joke in a previous post. The Bass-O-Matic was a classic Saturday Night Live commercial parody. If someone really got that joke, they'd probably also remember the Prison Talent Show skit where Garrett Morris is auditioning singing a song about getting a shotgun and killing all the whities he sees. As they start to drag him off, he launches into the second verse about how he's going to get him a white woman wearing a navy blue sweater since one of the ladies (Gilda?) on the cast was playing the Warden's secretary and was wearing a navy blue sweater.
