Default Re: PPA should disassociate itself from scandal ridden CEO Poker tour

[ QUOTE ]

A couple of days ago I couldn't find the CEO tournament listed at the Caesar's Palace website. Maybe they don't know that CEO is still advertising or maybe they'll still have it with/out knowledge of alleged scams.

I've e-mailed Caesars Palace poker room director Jim Pedula about this situation a couple times. I linked the two big threads in the e-mails.

Basically, he thanked for for linking the information and said he would look into it. He said they would only host the event if it was in the best interest of the players and Caesars Palace.

I happened to be in Caesars Palace tonight and inquired about the CEO Poker Tour with one of the floor people. The floorperson didn't know about the Tour (not unusual since it's scheduled to start November 25th). We checked a calender on the wall of the office and "CEO Poker Tour ------->" was penciled in on it. Though, I'm sure that was penciled in long before this controversey became public information.

My guess is the CEO Poker Tour will have difficulty hosting events at any casino which is informed about how they've conducted business.
