Tax in Australia
I'm going to seek some professional advice, but I'm just curious what the law is in Australia. I know money made from gambling in a casino is tax free, but what about money won playing poker online?
If money made from online poker IS tax free in Australia, then what about if it's my primary source of income? I imagine I'd pay tax then. Is this correct?
