Re: 200nl, wierd spot with rivered trips
[ QUOTE ]
You're asking yourself the wrong question here...
The correct questions are:
If I raise, which worse hands will call?
Will he fold a better six?
The answers are likely none and no, therefore calling is probably best. You can be pretty sure that he'll only call a reraise with hands that crush you here. You're priced in to call here, especially if you think he can do this with a jack, so call.

I agree in general, but no one ever folds trips, and some trips have lower kickers than a 9, so I think there are hands we beat that can call a re-raise here. I also think that 56/67 (along with A6) are more likely to open limp in the CO than T6 or Q6. 46/86 are somewhat likely open limping hands as well, but they probably bet earlier in the hand.
Anyway, my point is that I think here it's somewhat close between the hands that we beat and call, and the hands that beat us. The real problem with raising, in my view, is re-opening up the betting, cause I don't want to be bet off my hand by some spanker who open limps in the cutoff and overvalues 56 in this spot.
