I can see a few reasons why one would prefer a hooker over a bar chick-- guaranteed sex, some reasonable guarantee of quality of performance and cleanliness, no potential melodrama afterward, no BS, etc.

Also, I agree with everyone that some of the responses in this thread are mind-blowingly idiotic.
