Default Re: Axs flops TP in small pot

[ QUOTE ]
i would just lead the flop. why do you want to be so fancy when we are OOP against an unknown with a decent but vulnerable hand? he'll either find a reason to call or he won't, but he can't call unless you bet.

He can't call if I don't bet, but he also can't bluff if I bet. All hands with two cards between 3 and A, and that are a lot of hands, can't really call a flop bet. When the pot is this small (just 1BB) gaining a single small bet from a hand that would have folded to a bet otherwise is a huge win and since the pot is so small and there aren't even overcards possible on the turn giving a free card is absolutly no problem.

vulnerable hand

Vurnerable? If I'm ahead a huge part of his range is drawing to:

1. runner runner two pair/trips
2. another part of his range has 2 outs (small pp's)
3. another part of his range has 4 outs (gutshot)
4. some part has 5 outs (pair)
5. and a really small part of his range is drawing to 7 outs (pair + gutshot).

I even have a (gutshot)redraw against the wheel.

lol?

I don't understand why you respond with 'lol?' It looks pretty obvious to me that it's a dry board.
