I love how some people see a guy that's a little different, and he's automatically called horrible. Maybe his approach is a little more advanced than what you're listening to? With the fast-moving, repeating melody and unusual structure, I think the song does well at maintaining the feel of frustration he was clearly shooting for when he was writing the song.
It's definitely avant-garde, but that certainly doesn't make it horrible. The song is pretty deep - you can almost sense the angst. Plus, it's catchy after a little.
