Re: How much $$ do you need in your bankroll to play .25/.50?
I'm waiting until I have $1750 before I play $50 NL. I always increase my BR requirements by 5 before I move up.
When I hit $1650 last month, I went on a big downswing and now I'm back to $1500. If that happened to me at $50 NL I'd only have $1200 and that would tilt me.
If you can go through an ugly downswing without really hurting your bankroll or your game, then that is good. Bankroll requirements should be different for everybody.
