My bad for not defining more clearly what I meant by 'variance', mainly because I hadn't thought about it enough.

It's downswings I'm thinking about, and whether, if I start to play No-Limit, that I need to prepare myself mentally for an inherently more 'swingy' game. (On top of the fact that I might well be a very crappy player [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img])
