Why not include reads?

I'd probably puke and call, but betting larger on the flop wouldn't put you in such a nasty spot (you'd have to call then). Even though your small bets had taken down the pots earlier, that's no excuse not to manipulate the bet sizing to suit your needs later on. Betting strong to represent an overpair scared of the very draw heavy flop isn't bad at all here.
