If they give you a choice, go with XP. Vista still has some issues with security that make running PT, PAHud, GT+, etc. a little bit of a pain. If they don't give you a choice, you can contact Microsoft after you get the new computer and tell them you want to "downgrade" to XP. They won't like it much, but if you push they will help you out and hook you up with the XP software.
