Re: Madden 08 is coming soon. What system should you get it for?
Everything I've heard says this is the year they're stepping up their game. With 2k Sports back on the scene, they're going to need that. This is also, in sports terms, a contract year for Madden. Even the most hardcore Madden fans have taken issue with the development of the game for next-gen consoles. EA doesn't want the rap of not being able to get it right since 360 has been out for this long. That's where they should be targeting their main efforts, and I think it'll show.
Also, NCAA has come out to mostly very very good reviews. It always seemed to me that NCAA was like a warm-up for Madden. I could be off base with that one, but that's the feeling I've always had.
And, I own a 360, so that's what I'll be getting it for. By the end of the year, I think my PS2 will be a distant memory (Rock Band ftw!)...
