Lived in Madrid for 6 months and loved the nightlife/city in general. Def more low key than Ibiza. Barcelona was awesome in all respects. If you want something a little bit off the beaten track, I would suggest Alicante on the golden coast. Prolly the best beaches in Spain. Tenerife is like Ibiza, without all the Disneyworld/Mardi Gras bs.
