I spotted this at the Ben Bridge store at the Fashion Show Mall during the off-day I had during day 1c at Bellagio Cup and loved it, telling myself I'd buy it if I made the event's FT.
I played with Alan Sass and we talked about watches (Surindar Sunar's watch prompted the convo), and he said he'd never buy a Rolex, because too many poker players already wear one, but I was undeterred.
So....
Brag: I've always wanted a "baller" watch since I started playing poker tour, and 2.5 years later I finally got one. The crocodile band is dope, too.
Beat: Wearing an expensive watch is sort of absurd and unnecessary.
Variance: When I bought the watch on the day of the final table, I didn't know how much money I'd be locking up, and even after the money I took away from the fourth place finish, I still couldn't really "afford" it, but I still think it's a strong purchase.
