That business about "inventing the internet" is a load of crap. In an off the cuff response on a talk show he said "I took the initiative in creating the Internet." This wasn't true of course, but it wasn't that far from untrue and he could have easily said something like "I was instrumental in the legislation that led to the internet as we know it today."

If someone doesn't like Gore for some reason, they should come up with a lot better than this talk radio and late night monologue material.
