I disagree. Its not bad manners at all, its only perceived that way by steamers.

Upon showdown cards speak. When the winner is declared the best thing to do is expedite the next hand, pick up the chips and move on as long as the winner has been declared by the dealer.

I have been in this situation myself a few times, each time the floor was called and I was ruled in the right provided showdown was verified. I have only seen people complain about this in Vegas, it never happened to me once in AC or any other market I played in. 9x out of 10 its usually a guy steaming who complains because he is shocked he lost the last hand, and he feels this adds insult to the injury.

PS: It might be a coincidence but I don't recall ever seeing anyone complain about this problem in timed games - I would guess because the players cognizance of keeping the game moving, but are not as aware in a raked game.
