How much trash?
If its something that would take less than 15-20 minutes to pick up, I'd probably pick it up myself.
If its a whole bunch of crap, walk over their and explain the situation and ask them to please clean it up.
Then file a complaint with the neighborhood board (or whatever) on the disorderly neighbors.
