This is the first thing that jumps out at me. Hell, forget about 3 previous years of data. He had a good exhibition game against his own defense, that one game is clearly the most important data point that people should look to. The rest of it is griping about schedule ratings, how redshirt sophomores are going to step in and surprise people, etc. Newsflash: Washington lost their best player in Stanback, struggled without him, and don't have the coaching track record of, say, Tressel at OSU where you figure you can just plug new recruits into the system and you'll have a good team. Every fan of a team thinks that this is the year, but I won't bash someone for seeing past mediocrity and expecting that to continue in the future.
