Roger Ebert called her America's sweetheart.
Not an original phrase, or one that hasn't been bandied about countless times before. But she really, really deserves it. I think for the first time since the phenomenon of Meg Ryah(which made folks like Sandra Bullock's career possible). Anniston's far from perfect, but if a girl next door ever had charm you could relate to, it was Anniston.
For history buffs, Anniston = Debbie Reynolds, and Jolie = Elizabeth Taylor, and to whatever extent possible, Eddie Fischer = Brad Pitt. Classic and interestingly fun(except maybe for them) similarities.
