Getting away from overpairs is one of the toughest things to learn how to do when you're developing your TAG game IMO.
In this hand, I actually advocate using your position and sticking in a raise on the flop - if I were OOP I agree with the flat call, but you're just not getting enough information here. The 44 would probably reraise or give you some other indication that you're in trouble here, especially if the other guys stick around.
