LOL, just helped my dad move a lathe from townsend montana to post falls idaho. (slighty smaller than the one shown, about 1/2 the size)
(we loaded his truck up with a mill, lathe, press, and many other heavy tools...in total put ~9,000 lbs in the trailer and ~2,000 lbs in the truck (the truck, hitch, and trailer were all 14,000 lbs rated, so no big deal, ohhh, and his truck is a ford diesel [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] )
But anyone who has driven the route I described knows the 3 passes we went over...and we did it from 7 pm to 3 am going 30-45 mph...boy was that a trip I'll never forget. (we traveled to townsend, loaded, came back with NO SLEEP! quite the 2 days)
