I would think in a cash game you are going to be raising more hands preflop and thus would naturally be C-betting more, thus it being a more profitable move there. Depending upon the tournament structure, it isn't too long before all you are doing is value-betting hands, and thus you will be playing tighter i.e. less opportunities to use C-bets. Just my thoughts though.
