think you slow played this too much, you want to be building this pot from the start. if everyone folds, sh*t happens, you get a few chips for free from the BB you wouldn't have had otherwise.
If you want people to be calling or betting big on the river with hands you can beat, you need to have something in the pot first. So build build build!
