From pokernews.com updates for 3k limit event:

Hellmuth's Aces Cracked, Mega-Tilt Ensues

Phil Hellmuth and Linda Ryke-Drucker capped the action pre-flop. The flop was Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and they capped it again. The turn was the 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Drucker bet and Hellmuth called. The river was the 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Drucker checked and Hellmuth checked behind. Drucker showed Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for top set and Hellmuth slammed his A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on the table.

Immediately after the hand "Crazy Mike" Thorpe ran over to the table and asked "Hey, are you Phil Hellmuth? Can I shake your hand?" Fuming, Hellmuth called for the floor.

"I lose a huge pot and I have to deal with this guy coming over?" Hellmuth roared. Thorpe was escorted back to his table and reprimanded while Hellmuth was left to steam.

And a bit later..

"Crazy Mike" Takes Out Brian Devonshire

Holding K-9, "Crazy Mike" Thorpe put Brian Devonshire all in with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8:club. A king on the turn ended Devonshire's tournament, as well as their series of coin flips at $100 a pop.

Sorry, in advance, for the strategy. But, can someone please explain the river action.

It was limit. There were so many bets already in the pot, that betting the river wouldn't really make the pot any bigger anyway.. so she just checked to save time.
