Yes,,,,this would be true if the dealers were worth a sh*t, ok, some are ok but there is this heavy set chick that I swear only deals about 8 hands per hour, when dealers pool there is no incentitive to get more hands in.

I agree with your assesment, and think I know the dealer you're talking about, she is horrid. She can also be very bitchy at times.
Slow dealers without a shuffle machine can be even worse however. There is one older delaer at Potawatomi who I just go ahead and get a meal button every time he sits in the box. If I'm late in a long session, he's guaranteed to put me asleep.
I should've mentioned, Resorts will also deal more hands per hour due to a lot fewer fills than Potawatomi.
