Default Re: dual monitors/lcd tv\'s

most video cards that support TV interfaces only support the lowest resolution (VGA). I tried playing a single table on my HDTV once so that a buddy and I could put our brains together in a MTT. The screen resolution was so poor that I often had to move the window to my computer screen to read stack sizes. It's not the TV, because it supports 1080 lines of resolution. It's the adapter card that has to assume the least common denominator for all TVs.

Even if you could get a better graphics adapter for your computer to connect to your TV, HDTV is only 1080 lines of resolution. Most good monitors give you 1600 x 1200 pixels, so they are still better.
