I think throughout time, people have laughed at those with less intelligence. I told many a Polish joke in high school...and a few mentally handicapped jokes, as well. BBV is similar to high school, except less mature. It is mildly entertaining that people clicked on a link that was clearly not cnn.com. Some people will say it wasn't obvious, but the fact remains that a lot of people read the thread, and very few clicked it...and even fewer loaded up the java app.
