Re: question regarding smoking at a home poker game
The host screwed up royally. It's his responsibility to either tell you that a smoker is going to show up and be allowed to smoke or tell the smoker there will be no smoking allowed in the house.
It sounds from your story that the host should institute a non-smoking policy right now.
