Default Re: JJ River Decision 10/20 Motor City

[ QUOTE ]
"Made hands" include one pair type hands. This guy is not the type where you can shut down with an over pair after one raise on the flop.

Example: TAG opens from EP. Villain calls.

Flop comes 232.
Tag bets. Villain raises. Tag 3bangs. Villain caps.

Turn: A
Tag checks and calls.

River: X
Tag check. Villain checks behind. Tag wins with TT.

Did villain show his hand for this one? He may have been bluffing hard with a draw (maybe 45?) instead of overplaying a pair of 3's.

Either way, I think you have to call this river. The example hand shows that this guy is aggressive enough that you can't check-fold the A getting 12:1.

If you were confident enough to fold to a raise, I kinda like bet/folding the river.
