Default Re: Virgin Casino - dumb noobie bonus question

[ QUOTE ]
This place says it will give me a 100% match bonus to £50. It says

"Once you have deposited, we will match the amount up to £50 in bonus funds. These funds are non-withdrawable. To convert the bonus into cash customers must stake an amount equal to ten (10) times their initial deposit. The bonus is converted in full when 100% of the Wagering Requirements are met."
"Bets on Multiplier, Baccarat, Craps, Ten Play Poker, Ten Play Bonus (Video Poker) all variations of Roulette and all variations of Blackjack do not count towards the total stake."

So I'm thinking roulette. I'd need to wager £500 on roulette. So if I make 500 £1 bets am I likely to come out on top or is it really not worth it. Would making 250 £2 bets be much different?

Basically I'm a casino bonus newbie based in the UK. I'm looking top up my poker roll with a bit of easy money. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

First of all, make sure you sign up through a referal cashback link... when I first opened an account here I signed up through quidco.com and got £50 cashback (this cashback has nothing to do with the bonus, it is simply a nice sum that is given to you simply for having opened an account at the casino).

I don't think quidco still offer it, but you can check around. If you are really stuck trying to find a cashback website, sign up through their 'refer a friend' offer instead. You get £25 extra that way (but its a £25 bonus rather than a 'hassle-free' cashback).

Okay, about the £50 sign up bonus. I would recommend that you play one of the following: Three Card Poker (£39.95 +ev), Texas Holdem Bonus (£47.35 +ev), Lucky Draw Jacks or Better 4play (£47.70 +ev) or Texas Holdem Shootout (£50 +ev). My poison of choice would be Texas Holdem Bonus... video poker has way too much variance for my liking.

Also, make sure that you also take advantage of their regular weekly/monthly reloads as well (they currently have their £50 weekly reload on today and tommorrow).
