Sorry, should have been more specific. Wanted to know better way to play KT. I remembered today that the X card on the flop was an A. Pretty sure the flop was a rainbow.

Casino was Soaring Eagle. I usually do better, but I’ve been playing real bad lately and donking on really bad plays and even worse reads. I agree that he played the hand horribly as well.

I know 55 isn’t the nuts. But he definitely didn’t have the nuts, because he thought I had the nuts. Nuts would have been AK for Aces full. But I definitely didn’t think he had pocket 5s.

I checked the river because I had a good feeling he would bet so I could check-raise him. I’m seeing now that this was the wrong play, but that was my reasoning at the time.
