Default Re: Help Me with My Vegas Itinerary

Cirque.. We saw Cirque in Disney 3 years ago. We though at Zumanity, but my wife was a little wigged out about the characters in the audience… Give me some thoughts here. Help me convince her.

I don't understand the fuss about Cirque. It just seems weird to me. Someone else paid for me to get in, I would have been pissed if I had paid 75 bucks to see that. I'd rather see 3 small Improv-type shows for that money.

Haven’t decided on renting a car. I can probably get it pretty cheap through work. Is parking a problem? How much does it cost at each place?

As I've gotten more experienced at playing, I've gotten a better idea of what I want in a game and table. If I don't see it where I am, there are plenty of other casinos to look. Taking cabs everywhere adds 10 to 15 bucks to every trip. For poker-room hopping trips, a rental car is the quickest, most convenient, and cheapest way I've found to go. As for price, maybe you can get a deal through work, but most HR-travel agent types aren't going to shop rates. Just call the major rental company numbers, you may be surprised. On my last two trips, I got a car for a little over $12 a day plus taxes.

How does the monorail do?

[/ QUOTE ]

It does great for places that have a monorail station, otherwise the long walks suck in the summer. Luckily for you, there's a station at Harrah's. If you want to go to the Sahara for their budget tournament or MGM for their packed tables, the monorail is a good way to go and cheaper than a cab.
