seems like it has a pretty good chance of working at a large high trafficked grocery store, obviously with the right kind of entry/exit setup.

My mom absent mindedly did this when I was a kid, she just walked right out. when she got to the car she was like wtf, nothing is in bags. then she went back in and paid for everything, no one said a word.
