Tough story. But in all honesty there's absolutely nothing you can do other than what you've already done. You may want to try and negotiate something with them. Send another email asking them if there's anything they can do for you as a loyal customer. Maybe ask them to pay 1/2 your buyin to the WSOP, and you'll wear their gear(hat/shirt..ect).
Doubt that will work, but it's worth a shot.
