Mehhh, I always like ikestoys' posts before this thread. Although I can't argue with there being a few hicks at OSU, they are definitely the minority (mainly students from central ohio). Also, Ohio State is fairly well respected and well ranked (comparatively) in most programs and offer a unique ability to create your own major.

I'm obviously biased though since I go to Cincinnati (save the b-ball thug jokes) and my gf goes to OSU and she will be attending their med school this fall. I've been to Ohio State prolly 100+ times over the last four years and its a great friendly atmosphere and their hasn't been a time where I haven't had a blast partying on the weekends. Standing in the student section of the OSU/Michigan game at the Shoe is an experience I will NEVER forget.
