I think villain mostly has a big pair like KK,AA,QQ or a monster.

I sometimes check these flops myself with big pairs to keep the pot smaller, specially if villain calls with a wide range and could very vell have an 8.

There really are no scare cards and you let you opponent the chance to catch up a little or bluff and you hand is well concealed.

If he had overs i believe he would reraise turn or bet flop.

River sure looks like a valuebet.
