Default Re: Where a good player 3bets me and I have NO [censored] idea about

He's a multitabling regular who probably isn't paying that much attention to you - mostly to his cards. Unless you have made a habit out of raising UTG recently and killing his chances of stealing blinds or something he is NOT 3betting you light and we are probably a dog to his range of

This is the first time he's 3bet you. He has JJ+/AK almost always.

He has position, he has us covered and we are 200BB deep.

See the flop for sure it's a re-raised pot and we have implied odds all over the place - but check folding that flop is standard I think.

As an alternative line you can re-raise him preflop (and fold to a push) planning to b3b or C/R any Ace flop all-in or lead for 2/3pot if the flop is raggedy and represent an overpair.

OOP postflop with missed AK is NOT the time to be bluffing solid regulars.

AK is very very very strong preflop and should be played aggressively as it is effectively 3rd nuts preflop.

Postflop is a whole different thing. It's not very often that TPTK is good enough to win stacks with. More often than not when AK makes a hand postflop it makes TPTK. I am losing count of the number of times I call a donks open from LP with crap like 75o spike a pair on the K95r flop and call his CB, then hit 2pair on the turn and get all the monies in as 80% favourite only to watch him flip AK and then whine that I played badly, poker is rigged, and the fish always win.... It's very theraputic.
