Considering you can't randomly pull people over for no reason, I think randomly stopping people for "DUI checkpoints" is in clear violation of civil liberties. Even the supreme court so much as admitted DUI check points are in violation of the 4th amendment, but said that they were a necessary evil given how prolific drunk driving is, and voted 6-3 to reverse the Michigan court decision that said they were in violation of the constitution.

Are you guys serious? Of course they should have "checkpoints" now and then to stop people to see if they're drunkdriving. How would they else catch them? Only go for the drivers thats way over the top and wobbles from lane to lane? Are you against the police checking that you're within the speed limits aswell?
